and he was very much afraid of
the nectar loving bees
so he cut down all the cherry trees
scythed down a mighty grove
and all the vines which round
trunk grew
of time he spent a fortune
he now had plastic roses

in the barren garden of
his sterile orkin nation
he had no barren ruined choirs
for he had no choirs at all
and birds to neighbors' forests flocked
to stage their orchard orchestrations
