The basketbound baby Moses
.. hidden within reeds..
awaiting in the bulrushes
his worldchanging destiny
was not
The hunter who waited in his
blind.. in the reeds..
armed with false scents,
false sounds.. mimicking
the call of a mate.. camouflaged
.. with telescopic sight
rifles.. and the gift
of human speech.. planning
.. death not life
to the voiceless innocents.
But God had different plans..
and with hurled lightning bolts
changed forever
the heart of the hunter.
