He planted so many trees

to prevent mudslides and earthfalls

that angels

sent him Spirit's firefall

Serendipity windfalls

and love's waterfalls

The little 12 year old boy..

dutifully did his 4H project..

raising his pet pig..

and when he would not

give her up.. to the slaughterhouse..

she was torn from his arms..



by his father..

but his mother interceded



INFINITE WELLS



Within each heart

grace keeps infinite wells

.. all we need do

is dip into them..

or open the sluice gates

and let them pour



IAMBIC QUATRAMETER



As one read her

poems, the rhythm

of her heart..

an iambic quatrameter

.. imprinted itself

on the reader..

whose heart began

to beat not to

a different drum

but the same one

As the sunlight himself spills

into corn's kernel cells

As the bees' gathered amber

is poured in hive chambers

so is GOD'S GRACE

poured into mind's gridlace
