Years ago the Sierra Club and other environmentalist groups did not

want to offend the Inuit and so supported continued clubbing of Pribilof

Island seals.  That no longer happens, but Canada's PM Trudeau allows barbaric clubbing

of baby and adult seals to continue. The clubbers don't like to knife the

animals. Painful as it is it's much less so than being clubbed, but the

seal 'harvesters' don't want to fur coats damaged by the blood.
