Infidelity
Our guru told us at the ashram
that God would answer our questions
about potential actions if
1. they were about each's own paths
rather than someone else's
2. if the decision needed to be made soon
3. and if the querant was surrendered to
the answer
The method was to have 4 identical symbols or
pieces of paper etc. One would be 'yes'. Two
of them would be 'wait'. And one would be 'no'.
If using 2 coins, 2 heads would be yes, a combintion
of head and tail would be wait, and 2 tails 'no'. One
says a prayer and then in absolute random, one of
the symbols is selected.
We were told this by a woman at the ashram.
The wife was asking if her husband had been faithful.
He was with her each time she asked. There would
be a 1 in 4 chance of getting an answer of 'no'.
The numbers kept climbing .. 1 in 16, 64, 256,
and so on. Finally when on the 10th time the
question was asked and the same 'no' came up,
...the odds of that being over 1 million to 1..
he finally told her of a brief affair.
