From earth, it seems that the stars are a vast
crowd of fans waiting for the moon as she enters the sky
stage. Yet though she is
the queen of the night
she is a lifeless satellite
and shines
with stolen light.
She is a mere jot in comparison
to the thousands of times larger stars who glow
with their own self luminescence.

A wondrous analogy for physical life itself. For a "mere jot" in our endless adventure, it all seems so real. With stunning precision and impressive eloquence, you put the ordinary into life-altering perspective. How often does the "stolen light" hypnotize us into forgetting the magnificence beyond this fleeting illusion, and most importantly, the magnificence of Who We Really Are.
