Dogs Abandoned Coming And Going
Dogs lose coming
and going.
When soldiers are deployed
their dogs are often abandoned.
And when soldiers go home,
once again their dogs are
abandoned.
Horses in previous wars, dolphins
trained by the Navy to be bomb
carriers, primates shot into space
as training for military satellites,
have often been sacrificial lambs
of another species.
