Insects Won The Game
During the 2007 American League division series, a swarm of midges, tiny
insects from Lake Erie, flew in to a game between the Cleveland Indians and NY Yankees. They sacrificed themselves to bother most the Yankee pitcher Chamberlin. My deceased brother L, Indians fan, was watching the game in a restaurant with friends. When he saw the wee winged ones harassing the Yankees, he jumped up and exclaimed to all "The fix is in!" Chamberlin was so flustered his next throw was a wild pitch scoring a run.
