This aquatic being is
affixed and asphyxiated.
A fish in great pain from the hook
which lands in the throat or
gill or even the eye
is flopping around on the deck
gasping for breath
in a slow waterless death.
Some in witnessing this
are unconscious, objectifying
the suffering creatures.
Others do not care.
A third group give up
forever foods derived
by murder.
