Takoma Park Landlord

He attempted to live

by ten tenets..

he tried to all
to be tender,

and not to profit off tenants

Footnote:

I have been very lucky in having

exceptional landlords..

this poem is dedicated to Wilbur

Werline who rented us a cottage

in Takoma Park, Maryland. We

were surrounded by homes renting

for $1000 or more a month.. but

our rent was $250. He did not

want to profit off of others.
