My life was full to misery
Until my dear husband came back to me
We held each other as blood dripped off our backs
And cried sweet tears in our rotting shack
He planned with me to escape that horrid ground
And we set off as the moon went down
And as the sun grew wide and tall
Fever caught me and I began to fall
And as I pray that my love will come back to me
With these words that I do plea
My love will you bury me
Into the ground where my soul can be free
Where I can go over the heavens and back to the ground
Dig up the dirt and put me down
And when you come back I will be right here
Shining bright as a sun hit tear
And when a flower is put upon me
My body will reach for serenity
And as it searches for its desire
My love will burn through me like fire
And as I burn in my flowered rest
My heart will slow in my chest
And as you weep for my love and life
My last thought will be as your dear wife
