As I ran across the field
I saw from a far
Every time I look at her
She is smiling at me
I give a neigh and trot to her side
A sugar cube is hidden, I must find it
Every time I look at her
She is laughing at me
I nudge her with my nose
She strokes my soft velvety muzzle
Every time I look at her
She scratches my itchy spots
This young lady I’m sure
Has fallen for my chestnut coat
Every time I look at her
I am drawn in to her eyes
‘My little Arab filly, I shall call you lily’
I prance away then gallop home
Every time I look at her
She is looking back
