Yet [*/+/^] : 27.225 MHz, Some Final Measures; Repentance As Lazarus Saturday Becomes Palm Sunday

Lord, again I have failed another Lent.

You know, Lord, that was not my soul's intent.

And I know what is the origin and cause

of my flesh's habit of discontent---

my multitude of acquired faults and flaws,

steeped in the obscene filth of ignorance

and expressed openly with proud arrogance.

Of this, I humbly, sincerely, repent.

During this dreadful self-examination,

You remind me of the joy of Salvation

rather than an unsaved condemnation.

You also say, "Be still," to my current fear:

stirred up by the Enemy's whispered jeer---

that I will fail at Lent, again, next year.
