On The Teaching Of Astronomy In Elementary Schools
In the monnth of January, the earth begins to turn
its tilt back toward our local star, the sun; or, starward.
But elementary schools' science teachers spurn
this fact, or have, in their confusion, obscured---
this process that lasts until the autumnal equinox
(which most of those instructors cannot discern):
our shoeless summers, BlueShift, barefoot or just socks.
