+ 1ST POEMS: Yuk Wu-dang Deserves This Poem [After 2nd Maccabbees 12:44-45]

I pray for you, Yuk Wu-dang:  yes, I pray for your soul fervently;

your name, among those I think while praying my Prayer-Rope.

Because I love you, though (in time and place) from afar,

I consider and salute you as a brother,

I commend you, with the utmost sincerity and hope

to our Gracious Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother.

Despite inhumane prejudice and human perfidy,

nothing can interfere with our innate fraternity.

God, Who is Love created us and blessed us to be

the honest and full expression of who and what we are---

the same purpose He has given to each and every star

that sparkles in His Universe and in our poetry.

Starward-Led, an Orthodox Christian
