Poem For D-Day
Hard to get my mind around that fact that the
Second World Warm, Europe, was instigated by
a disgruntled housepainter from Bavaria
who raised the Third Reich on the foundation of a lie.
He led the German people in a foul, goose-stepping stomp,
all those who gladly read his book of trash, Mein Kampf:
a wicked book---each copy of which should be in a dump;
but one we know of sits right on the desk of Donald Trump.
