Walt Whitman used the term adhesion to encode Homosexual love and pleasure; while, in England, Lord Byron, P.B. Shelley and others spoke of the initiated into Homosexuality. I wanted to show, in this poem, how Homosexual Love deserves its own vocabulary against that of the haters. The couple described in the poem, who violated several local, societal expectations, are now together in old age.
