grays (shirt, slacks, sheer socks); behind him, a Russian mural---a broken
fence, some posts red and some white, not fully covered by deep snow.
He said the painting reminded him of some winters outside Seoul.
His socks, as I quickly learned, were fragrant and flavorful.
