I will always believe that Lenin's primary motivation for his political activity was to avenge the death of his older brother upon the Romanov family, its supporters, and the Faithful of the Orthodox Church. The destruction of the existing order, on which he blamed the execution of his brother, was his primary goal; the establisment of a communist state, only a secondary concern. I believe this is the key to Lenin's psychology, to his life, and to his complete lack of spirituality. Too bad that reeking stiff in the mausoleum in Red Square, Moscow, is not able to tell us the truth.
