Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
---Psalm 139:10
Lord, I thank you that Summer of Nineteen Seventy-six
was both a preparing forward and my past tenses' fix:
but I rejoice, foremost, that it was a preparation
for my awkward clumsiness to find make its acclimation
to the blessed presence of the great, and close-worshipping congregation.

Author's Notes/Comments:
The last line alludes to Psalm 35:18.
Too long in my life, I have been fascinated, or even offended, by the differences between "high" and "low" church worship. At this late stage of my life, the Lord has shown me that the only viable adjesctive---for my perspective to use---is close: close worship and close fellowship, both based upon close devotion to the Holy Bible.
