+ 9TH POEMS: θυσίαν αἴνεσις Lord Jesus, Your Love

LORD JESUS:  Your Love is more than sufficient for me;

It is a Redemption of Perfect Efficiency

that secures my existence for all of Eternity.

It draws me toward Your stellar cosmology

and makes possible this praise of You poetically.

Despite the Prince of the power of the air and this world, and his perfidy

(the kind that invaded Eden at the beginning of mankind's History),

I know that Your Love is more than enough for me.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The entire poem proceeds from Galatians 2:20, and the first line is an echo of 2 Corinthians 12:9.

The fourth line alludes to LXX Psalm 8:3 and Revelation 22:16.

The six line quotes Ephesians 2:2 and John 12:31.

If your song is of Love

If your song is of Love eternal,
mine is of love in the fleeting hour.
Where you see redemption in the stars,
I see it in the hands that reach across a table,
in the quiet courage of forgiveness,
in the fragile mercy of today.

Your faith lifts you beyond the air,
mine roots me in the soil—
yet both speak of sufficiency,
both whisper that love,
whether divine or human,
is more than enough.

Who am I, as is asked in

Who am I, as is asked in Scriptures, that you would share the grandeur of your poetry with such a screw-up as me?  Your comment has overwhelmed me with its beauty.  I do not have sufficient words to adequately express my gratitude.
