I was 4 when the symptoms started.

dreamy eyes darted to catch the cats running in the corner of my vision but never coming out to play.

alot of people have false depictions of what this disease is

what they dont know is

its never just the voices in your head

its never really seeing people who arent there. 

Its youre own shadow reflecting in the mirror at the end of the hall 

Its children made out of trash cans and mailboxes, 

it is the cats darting  in the corners of your vision

this isnt something someone jokes about. except when they do. 

and when they do they connect it to a point that doesnt matter.
