Why would I boil and prepare the pasta,
if I'm not going to taste it,
damn girl you scared me tonight,
I really thought you were gonna make me waste it,
like I've said and secretly written,
I will wait for you,
but don't ever fear me ending our best friendship,
that is something I will never do.
So go grab the strainer,
together we can prepare the meal,
I have learned to always cook for two,
just in case the first one someone steals,
if waiting were a job,
girl, I'd be a millionaire,
never will I push you,
I won't ever think the thought to dare.
Pretty much wrote enough about you to make a novel,
maybe even a play,
my dreams are already living together,
now lets live like its out last day,
I am a dreamer,
who can travel by nothing but moonlight,
sre I see the dawn before the rest of the world,
but I would share it for you,
it'd be my ultimate delight.
