After all love looks like I see it right?

You never visited

Never called

Hardly spoke when I saw you

I use to think you didn’t love me

Then you died

And I found my birth announcement in your things

My first communion photos mixed in with your old teams

And I realised

Your love didn’t need phone calls, visits, or conversation

It simply existed

It looked exactly like you did

Quite

Private

And always there when one needed it
