Why I love being your friend

When you sing
When you simply laugh
When you get completely side tracked by a spider
Or you hum unknown lines to a well known rhythm
When you are just you and I am just me
When we giggle like twelve year children
Eat crackers and cheese for dinner
Have nachos and salsa for dessert
When we both just let life go
Then I just am without thinking
And there is no me or I or whom
Just a human bulb of light
Illuminating the room
Those around me
And the world
