It’s just not the same
Everyone has white faces
Bright eyes and brownish hues of waves upon their heads
I mean sure there is the odd blonde or red head tossed about here and there
But where are all the Asians
The Latinos
The Koreans, the Africans, the Persians
Where are the people with histories and homes they can’t go back to
The diversity in food options
In human thought
Culture
It’s just not the same being here
Being there
Being anywhere but home
It’s just different
Even when it’s the same
