I wish you could of just been Honest
I simply fail to understand how things took this turn
I wasn't expecting much from you but simply to get to know you
I wasn't expecting you to come into my life and change it
What I thought was that you felt a mutual friendship as i did
What I thought was that you saw a potential of "possibly" us being something more
These thoughts simply a clouded now, for you simply decided to leave without no reason
I don't hold it against you for I know that you owe me nothing
I just simply wish you didn't show me something that simply wasn't there
Its often okay to be friendly and kind
But at what point is it simply doing more harm than good
I guess all I can say is " I hope you find whatever it is you are looking for"
Because apparently I was mistaken to believe that you were wanting to find a friend
For this i am at fault and that's simply the way it's gonna be.
