It seems that the days seem to fly by

I wonder is my chances are slipping away

I long to have someone whom I can share myself with

I long to care for someone who asks for nothing in return

I often wonder if this is a possibly

For often times it seems impossible to achieve



I've had the opportunity but was too scared to commit

I often wonder if this way of being is simply not for me

Love is something I have never truly felt

Not since that one girl broke my heart

I feel its time for me to move on

For I know that true love is something so strong

I only wish I can get one more try

For I know that love is something I will cherish

This time I swear I won't let it slip by
