The grass is always greener

from the outside looking in.

She made it sound so sweet

picket fence and all.

When the bank starts callin'

don't care about how you're doin'

they ain't got time to wait.

Workin' day, 

workin' nights,

am I doin' it right?

Used to be so nice, when they were so sweet.

When kids grow up-- they start talkin' back

Is this how it's supposed to be?

all we need is love;

try that one with the judge.

How was your day?

Fuckin' GREAT today I get paid

so you can lay

on your fuckin' ass all day!

She need the doc to give her something strong

Just to take the edge off.

It must be hard stayin' home.

I must be lucky

Havin' a boss up my ass all day!

Is this the meaning of life,

get married, have kids, house,

just to struggle with bills?

Every monotonus day

livin' this mundane life.

These rusted chains that bind me down;

Shackled to this ring, til death do you part,

Is that my only way out?

She won't miss a beat

that kid makes her feel young again.

I always knew--

I just didn't care.

I was fuckin' your sister the whole time.

I'm not looking to win this fight

its not about who's right.

Besides I'm always wrong

and now--

outta sight.

You won't see me today-

-or tomorrow

Never again will I say; "I DO'

cause I don't wann DO anymore.

I now know that meanning--

of true love.

It's truly a fallacy.

Don't believe anything you see

only some of what you read--

I wanna leave you with one thing--

Sometimes it's right doing the wrong thing.

AND you want RAINBOWS--

you gotta put up with a LOT of RAIN.

Some sitautions are too tragic to have a hero--

AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM.
