Frills and fancies are relative to me

But for some people that's all they can see;

A person's foundation means nothing.

They're always searching out something

To qualify relations and lay on constraints

Ensuring sameness so each one relates.

It levels all, smoothing uniqueness

As though doing so tempers weakness,

For the chain's weakest link is the one that most differs -

No quirks or exceptions will the group consider.

So there's one simple thing you've got to know

If you long for a ticket to this show:

When you evaluate your inventory

Mark it all down to nothing.

Then you will see the moral of the story -

All that makes you yourself -

Everything must go!
