The glorious Texans glass
My father uses this glass of the NFL team “Texans” whenever he is drinking. This glass is not a normal glass, as it is like 22 ounces, around two beers, and it also represents the beating the patriots gave to the Texans that day. He frequently fills it with some blended scotch whiskey, Buchannan’s master I think or sometimes just Buchannan’s 12, rather than beer that it is what it is intended for. It doesn’t matter what day it is, what hour it is, if you see my father with this glass it means he is drinking. This glass it is from the game between the patriots and the Texans, which takes place in the Reliant stadium (now called the NRG stadium) in the first of December of 2013. Sometimes when I’m alone in the house I also grab this glass and put some scotch on it, but if my father sees me using his glass he will probably go nuts. I use another glass from the Mexican soccer league of the team Tigres from the aperture 2011 because it was the season Tigres were crowned champions of Mexico. My father usually takes his glass to any family event, or when he has a reunion with his friends he will take it. Before he had the Texans glass he used to drink in the Cowboys glass, this glass was from the superb game between Steelers vs. Dallas in 2012 (Dallas won that game in overtime so that glass was very special because of the game), but one day he went to a friend’s house and that friend loved the glass so my father as an act of gratitude he offers the glass to his friend. What I think is ridiculous and funny is that my father is a Steelers fan and I think that this is so funny because he actually owns a Steelers glass but this one is like 10 ounces so he will rather use the Texans glass instead of the Steelers glass. My father loves the Texans glass more than any glass, even though he is not a Texans fan at all, but if you can have double the scotch in your glass, then you have double the fun. Maybe the Texans glass isn’t the best glass out there, but it sure makes my father smile and have a good time pouring some scotch in this 22 ounce glass.
