So quick does it pass
A flicker of a flame
Came and gone so fast

Struggle to hold on
To the memory left
Grasping at nothing
Mind lost in a mess

Abysses and avenues
Longing to explore
To the ends of eternity
Searching evermore

In slumber or in wake
Is a mystery intertwining
What's real or whats fake
The means to understanding

Clarity is but a dream
Enveloping ones being
Playing in loops
While not quite seeing

The obvious is impossible
The sense never common
Plain sight is obstructed
Leaving all in wonderings

One moment in time
Is all that's required
To ponder a memory
And drive your desires
