I have never felt like this before,

Whenever I see you, I fall to the floor.

This endless torture is killing me inside,

I try so hard to be with you, but I feel denied.

Standing beside you I tremble, my world begins to spin,

I feel so lightheaded, my body starts to sing and dance within.

I open my mouth and try to speak,

Instead I stutter; not a word does leak.

The breathtaking sight of Heaven’s Hills,

Nothing compares to you, and never will.

Angels singing in a choir, song so pure and sweet,

Your voice gently echoing through a room can’t be beat.

I’d give my life for you; the last beat of my heart,

For I would rather die than us spend one second apart.

I wish you could see how much you mean to me,

But the pain of it is that I know we can never be.

Even if I was to declare my love for you,

What will come of it? Nothing new!

Destined for a celibate life, never knowing what it would be to hold you in my arms,

I try to move on, I try to forget you. But whenever I see you, you put on your charms,

Then once again I love you, like a fool.

Oh Lord above, why must you be so cruel?

Soon the day will come when you leave and say goodbye,

The pain it will be, a thousand knives, oh God I’d rather die.
