I never thought I'd see the day
When everything seems to be going my way
The middle of spring and it's so warm
I feel I'm very far from a storm
I wish that days like this stayed
The evil thoughts have all decayed
I want to go on like this until the end
These feelings will forever be my friend
I feel as though I'm on cloud nine
Where everything works just fine
No stress, no complaints, I'm worry-free
I'm happy with just being me
The sky is clear and the grass is greener
The sun is bright, the water's clearer
I love the way this makes me feel
It sometimes seems to good to be real
I feel relaxed and out of harm's way
I can't wait for another new day
Where everything works out just fine
And I can have what's always been mine
