The Sign says...

"Exact Change Only".

The Sign says...

"Please wait in line".

The Sign says...

"Please show me the money.

Don't you know

There's no free rides?"



And the Sign says...

"No Blood for oil".

And the Sign says...

"Keep our Earth green".

And the Sign says...

"Will work for food.

I will die

If I don't eat".



And the Sign says...

"Queers burn in Hell

And mothers killing babies

Will burn as well".

Signs fight for

"Right For Life",

While making others

Want to die.



And the Sign says...

"Won't you please help me?

Won't you try

And save my life?

I know that I'm not

Your Color.

I know that I'm not

Your kind;



But I bleed the same

Red blood as you

And teardrops fall

From my eyes too.

And signs you wave

Inside my face

Tell me I'm not

As good as you;



But you should know

That I'm still Human.

I am still

A person too.

And isn't that

What you're so afraid of...

That I could be

So much like you?"



But signs and lines

Will still be drawn.

That side's yours

And this side's mine.

And Signs still say...

"Exact Change Only"
