America(Is the dream fading?)

The Giant among nations

The dream land of yesterday

The land that beckoned diverse cultures

A land where the ordinary do extraordinary things

Arise to the question of the moment

Where is the dream of your founders?

The dream of our fathers, the dream of our fathers,

Echoes the voice of the dreamer,

As he woke up from slumber.

This collapse of a nations wealth,

Changing the destiny of her children.

Present and future generation,

Surely will demand to know,

What went wrong from your leaders.

Posterity will not forgive this debt,

Towering high like the Everest.

Who can save the greatest of nations?

In God we trust,

God bless America.

HI.
I liked this one.
I agree with you. I would tell you to give it some time. We can get out of this, the whole world, it will not be just America. We are experencing it here as well. We have a new President. He needs God's blessing too.

The dream might be fading, but it
will never die. The American people
will never allow that to happen..

Thanks for sharing. I like your poem; it's similar to the poem I am working on now. Why don't you like punctuation (period, comma etc) in your poems? It helps to bring the meaning of a sentence.
"What is happening to you" I did not like this part. It's too dull. Perhaps, you can use other sharp sentence.
"As he woke up from slumber" This is unclear. Are you referring America as he?
Nice poem in general
