Since you left

My body has healed

My bruises are gone

But my body is still

Scared

I'm afraid to date

I'm afraid to get hurt

I feel pain every where

I feel so damaged

So broken

Since you left

My eyes are open

Yet I am still afraid

I know your gone

But I don't kneed

Another like you

In my life

I want to spread my wings

And fly

I want to find

Meaniful love

Not abusive love

I want to be caresed

Not beaten

I want to be treated like a

Queen

Not a peice of garbage

I deserve better

Since you left

I feel more like myself

Since you left

I can learn to love

And trust others

I'm one in a million

There will be that one
