I hear you crying
I ran toward your sobs
When I found
You were curled up on our bed
I walked toward you
Soon as I sat down on the bed
I moved you into my arms
I held you tight
As you cried upon my shoulder
I ask you what was wrong
You cried harder
I held you tighter
As a twinge of pain shot through
My chest
I don't like to see my loving princess
Cry and it hurts me to see her tears
Of sadness
I wish I can make everything
Better for my love
But I know sometimes I can
Not
I would do what it takes to make
My Princess happy again
She is my world,
My one,
My only love
As I hold her in my arms
She still sobs
I hold her tighter
Yet she sobs harder
Then I look down
In her deep brown eyes
And see the pain
Intertwined in them
I start to tear
As another twinge of pain
Shoots through my body
I kiss her tears away
As my own start to fall
Then she looks up at me
And starts to kiss mine away
As we are both crying
In each other’s arms
