A light shines
In the darkest
And coldest times.
Its light reaches
Every corner.
Its warmth reaches
Every heart.
A feeling of comfort
Washes over
Every soul.
This feeling
Is called hope.
It gives people
Strength to continue.
I had almost
Given up.
But then I discovered
Hope.
Hope gave me
A reason to live.
While everyone else
Thought I would die.
And here I am.
I have proven
Those poeple wrong.
I have risen
Abouve the world.
I have overcome
All obstacles
Thrown at me.
If anyone else
Wants to bring me down
I tell them
"Just try."
I know
I will triumph
Because I have
A secret strength. That strength
Is called hope.
I was broken
But have been repaired.
I was depressed
But now am joyful.
I was lost
But have been found.
I know
Who I am.
I know
Where I stand.
I have been changed,
Changed forever,
By Hope.
