Every night

When I dream

I dream

The same dream.

I dream about

A world

With no wars

And eternal peace.

A dream about

A life

That is perfect

In every way

And has no sadness,

Only joy.

I dream about

A family

That holds on tight

To one another.

A loving mother.

A strong father.

A happy child.

They spend

Every minute

Together.

They are never

Separated.

Love

Fills their home.

Happiness

fills their hearts.

Sadness is left

Outside the door.

That was my dream

When I was young.

A dream

I dreamt often

And never forgot.

Much time has passed

And that dream

Has come true.

It's not perfect

But it's close enough.

I have a family

Who loves me.

I have friends

Who are there

For me.

Love

Fills my home.

Happiness

fills my heart.

Sadness is left

Outside the door.
