Many people have happy lives,
And their laughs bring new days quickly.
Their hearts stay full throughout their lives,
But my heart is always breaking.
The sun shines on them constantly,
But my life is covered by clouds.
They will never feel pain at all,

Their lives will always be complete,
But mine gets new cracks every day.
Their hearts won't ever be shattered,

I wish for the lives that they have
With no shadows, secrets, or lies.
To not lose myself more each day,

I wish I could be loved for once,
And feel like I truly belong.
That's what would make my life complete,
