My mother is my parent,
My friend and my hero.
The good qualities in her
I think you should know.
My mother knows well that
Nothing good ever lasts.
But she looks to the future,
Not to the past.
She never lets go
But always holds on.
And I know that in her heart
I will always belong.
She does her very best
To keep her family together.
Her love never ends
But goes on forever.
I hope that I can be
Just like her one day.
But I know that that time
Is still far away.
