I wonder if you'd think that I'd be worth your time
I wonder why I always search for what I never find
I think about your face, how your lips curve in your smile
I think about your features and the fire in your eyes
I think about how much I would love to make you mine
Then wonder if a place for me exists inside your life
I think about your words, oh how they're always on my mind
I think about your love, and how much I would stoke your fire

Given even half a chance, I'd give you my whole life
Because nothing is a sacrifice when you are on my mind
And every moment spent is always worth the time
Even though you don't agree, I think we're worth a try

It may be a mistake, but we won't know if it's passed by
I know that you are worth it, I know it deep inside
And even if it fails, I'll always think it's right
Life comes without a map, and must be discovered in the night

So take a chance and make a mistake if that's how our story goes
If we never try, then how can we ever come to know
If we're just wasting time with all the secrets we won't show
I try hard to deny it, but I feel in deep within my soul
You're the only one that makes the fires in my grow
And once we felt that fire in all the words we wrote
