I 'm not the object of your desire,
I'm not the cleaning lady you wish to hire.
I'm not the one who left you astray,
when things don't seems to go your way.
I'm not the one that made you blue,
when everyone turned against you.
I'm not the one who made you cry,
when you thought the world had passed you by.
I'm not the one who said I didn't care,
when you thought life itself just wasn't fair.
I'm not the one that made your decision,
when you were the one that had your own vision.
But I am the one that has prayed for you,
just so God can see you through.
I am the one that you can call,
morning,noon or night,
it doesn't matter not at all.
I am the one you can call a friend,
and I'll be by your side till the end.
So don't shun, disrespect,or take advantage for that matter,
because when I'm gone,you'll say a true friend,
wow I didn't realize I had her!
