While she spoke, he became hesitant and flustered.
Two schools of shrimp– swimming through
the undercurrent–with a few creating friction
against the surrounding water
the others following behind so
that they are not
washed away
from the group.
Two of the shrimp moved
a bit too much to the left
or right, and they were thrusted backward,
moving with their backs
doing the steering. One pair of eyes were
on the group, and the others were on each other.
They both were in hot water– sharks and gas.
Other schools would whisp by,
and you could not mull the decision
of whether to move with or without.
These were both confused shrimp,
they were in foreign waters.
They independently chose the same school.
It was not until the following day that they saw
each other again.
