I thought you said forever

But you chose to sever

Now I wish we we’re together

Again.

Leave me in dusk,

And wake me at dawn.

My life has no course,

You were my life support.

Alone in the dark,

I’ll walk alone with my heart.

A rider with no horse,

I am the lonely one.

Bring me to light,

Show me that spark.

A bed is so cold,

When your other half departs.

I thought you said forever 

But you chose to sever 

Now I wish we were together, 

Again.

Chills down my spine,

Keep myself from crying.

I hope it’s the last time,

Another you, I won’t find.

How do I make it all better?

How do I bring us back together?

How do I make it last forever?
