Where's the sun?

WHERE’S THE SUN?

Dismal and gray,   is the rain here to stay? No sun to be found, puddles of mud cover the ground.

A state of depression is about to begin, if it keeps on raining again and again.

Looking out not seeing any blue, No clouds of white, not feeling all too bright.

Could stay at home and sleep all day, if only the gray would go away.

No warmth on my face, no breeze in my hair. Dampness fills my bones, I’m in despair.

Dismal and gray, the rain just won’t go away.

Maybe tomorrow when I wake, through the gray the sun will break.

I surely hope so, for sanity’s sake.
