CONSUNA DE CATADINA

Well I came from a simple family, the sixth to be born. Of Sicilian immigrants, between countries they were torn.
Poppa was a sturdy man, stood about six foot tall, Momma was a good wife four foot ten from her head to the floor.
Well I was born in America and proud to be. Out of six it’s just my three brothers and me. Poppa died a young man just about forty- three. Momma raised us on our own, were one tight family....
Well Mommas gone and brother Sal and the oldest Annie, I miss them all so much, they are my family.
I hope someday when my turn comes, I’ll meet with them again. Momma that I loved so much, and Poppa I hardly met. Brother Sal and Annie, my three brothers and me, will be together in the hands of God, one big family
