It makes it hard those who work and raise their families, trying to pursue the dream, to live good, live clean. You call some lazy, with no skills to offer, but the fruits of there labor have filled your coffers.
But this is now and that was before, but isn't this what we've been fighting for?
So many claim the patriot, red white and blue. Hang flags on the fourth of July, like me and you, call themselves good neighbors and citizens to. Make us forget, so we have no regret for the things of the past that we held to be true. You look out for me, and I look out for you. Together we stand before the Red, White ,and Blue
They tax some to death so they can barely buy food, the old starving, the children weep. Mothers and fathers who cannot sleep. You need to work hard is the words that they speak, As they send away our jobs, and put us in the street. We eat spirit, while they eat meat. Some where craftsmen that worked with tools, others in factories manufacturing goods that proudly would say, made in the U.S of A. Everyone can't be a banker a lawyer a V.P. Working in retail or on T.V . War and government our new employer lets not loose focus. The options are slim, its Hocus Pocus.
Let’s return to the values we held once true. What’s good for me is good for you. Everyone’s equal though some have a bit more, after all isn’t that what we been fighting for
