You win – you have won my heart in the right way

I surrender – our conflicts to my God every day

You win – my undying gratitude and love

I surrender – our confrontations to our power above

You win – my efforts to make you as happy as I can

I surrender – to your willingness to try and keep your man

You win – I know that you are truly wise

I surrender – to the love light in your eyes

You win – the fight against the beast in me

I surrender – my blindness so that I can see

You win – my sobriety and the qualities I own

I surrender – so I will not have to be alone

You win – all the support and love that I can give

I surrender – so that together happily we’ll live
